DR. SHIREEN HAMID

Dr. Shireen Hamid began working in veterinary clinics after high school. A native of Chester, South Carolina, she graduated from Clemson University in 1997 with a degree in Animal Science, and Tuskegee University, where she received a degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2001. She has practiced in Brunswick since graduation, and brought her compassion and technology with her to Southeast Georgia Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Hamid is married to David and has two sons, Gage and Kai; in addition to her one husband and two children, she has four dogs, Turner, Red, Buck and Wrigley, a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon; five cats, Snookie, JWoww, Byron, Ricky Bobby and Burger; three horses, Finley, Doc and Belle; one donkey, Donna; and several chickens.

MARIE GRUNDHOEFER DVM

Dr G is from Daphne, Alabama.  She received her undergraduate degree from Auburn (War Eagle!) and her degree of Veterinary Medicine from Lincoln Memorial University in 2022.  She moved to the Golden Isles and joined our team shortly after graduating from vet school in the summer of 2022.  Dr Grundhofer is the proud mom to her 3 cats, Taji, Hera and Percy.
